The Managing Information Services Outcomes (MISO) Survey was originally developed in 2005 at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, USA by staff from a consortium of higher education institutions to assess library and technology services using a single instrument. Since then, the survey has grown and changed under the collaborative management of an all-volunteer team of library and IT professionals from various participating institutions throughout the United States. The survey has been implemented at 171 institutions. Status Of College Libraries In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan., Amjad Ayaz, Izhar Muhammad, Muhammad Shehryar, Mohammad Hussain

The main theme of this study was to explore the status of college libraries in the District Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The study aimed to identify the services, reading materials, and technological resources in the college libraries. Structured questionnaire was used to collect data. The researchers personally visited the population cites, and distribute the questionnaire to collect data from the librarians of two Degree Colleges. The data was analyzed manually with the help of MS Word to draw the results. Assessment Indicator Model (Libqual) On College Library Satisfaction, Tiko Dhafin Rizky, Nurul Huda, Muslikh Muslikh, Nova Rini

This study aims to determine the comparison between the combination of these assessments between public and Islamic-based universities. This study adopts a quantitative research methodology. The self-administered questionnaire was distributed each to 200 visitors of the Nusantara Business Institute and YARSI University to find out the comparison of the combined assessment of LibQual and Muslim-friendly Librarian. The study found that the combination of ratings between LibQual and Muslim Friendly Librarian had differences in satisfaction scores between the campuses. This study notes that Muslim-friendly Librarian has a higher satisfaction score for public higher education users than Islamic-based universities

"We're Gonna Figure This Out": First-Generation Students And Academic Libraries, Juliann Couture, Jimena Bretón, Emily Dommermuth, Natasha Floersch, Darren Ilett, Kristine Nowak, Lindsay Roberts, Renae Watson

University Libraries Faculty Publications

Although extensive research has looked at first-generation college students’ experiences, very little has examined the role of the library. This article reports the results of an asset-based exploratory study understanding the experiences of first-generation college students at three universities. Key findings of this study focus on themes of self-advocacy, sense of belonging, library customization, and integration of the library with the larger campus. This article discusses these key themes in the context of improving library services and spaces, ultimately providing more inclusive resources for all student groups. Implications and recommendations for professional practice are discussed.

In the present knowledge era, the library is considered an important center and is the heart of any academic institute. A successful organization is one whose users are satisfied from the provided facilities. In this study, the researcher studies the user satisfaction from library resources and services at Government Degree College Sabir Abad (Karak) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A survey method was used. The researchers personally visited the population site and distributed 155 questionnaires to the respondents of which 135 were responded to and received (87% response rate).
