Web content is an important source for education and research. At present it is a mandatory requirement for higher learning institutes of India to present information on their institutional home page. Due to dynamic nature of web content and increase use of emerging technology, the new ways of presenting information on higher education web sites become complex. In this paper, we try to study the changes in web content during last decade in first 20 NIRF ranking institute. The Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine has been used to get the web site update dates and the content of archived web pages.

Purpose: This paper examines the archival maintenance practices for paper based archival materials in academic libraries in Nigeria.

Design: Two research questions and a hypothesis guided the study. The research design adopted for the study was a descriptive research design while the population of the study comprises of 277 library staff in academic libraries in South East, Nigeria. Questionnaire and structured interview was used to gather data which was analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. This presentation to Library of Congress staff, delivered onsite on January 10, 2020, presents a tour through the demonstration project pursued by the Aida digital libraries research team with the Library of Congress in 2019-2020. In addition to providing an overview and analysis of the specific machine learning projects scoped and explored, this presentation includes a number of high-level take-aways and recommendations designed to influence and inform the Library of Congress's machine learning efforts going forward.
