In today' s environment, one way to retain people is to have fully engaged employees. A correlation study was conducted to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and employee engagement among Social Security Administration (SSA) employees. The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) is a tool that measures employees' perceptions their agencies. Pre-existing data was collected from the FEVS provided by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The purpose of this quantitative correlational research study is to determine the relationship between employee engagement and job satisfaction at SSA.
