This study explored the relationship between Meaning of Work (MOW) in relation to the variables of age, cultural orientation, as well as the combined effect of age and cultural orientation. This study was conducted among 380 individuals in the form of an online survey. The survey to collect data for the study was hosted on www.qualtrics.com and a survey link was created. California State University San Bernardino's Sona-Systems (a research management system) was utilized to recruit students for the study and to award extra credit for research participation.

Psychological ownership is the state where an individual believes that a target of some kind belongs to him or her, separate and regardless of legal ownership. The purpose of this study is to further the psychological ownership literature by investigating of certain individual characteristics will predict psycholgocial ownership and of work contextual issues will moderate those relationships. Results of this study indicate that the personal initiative and locus of control characteristics do predict psychological ownership.

The purpose of this study was to extend past and current literature in work-family conflict (WFC), perceived supervisor support (PSS), perceived organizational support (POS) and psychological contracts to Hispanic and African American populations. Data was collected from 97 participants with complete surveys from a full-time working adult population primarily in Southern California.

The Effects Of Procedural Justice And Work Overload On Job Performance, Seana Maria NuñEz

This thesis explored the relationship between work overload and procedural justice on job performance. It used planned comparisons to test three hypotheses, which were tested by having the participants (N=132) randomly assigned to groups and perform a proofreading task in two timed intervals. The study design used quantitative methodologies and the procedures and measures were piloted before data collection. A participant exit survey was also employed. Suggestions for future research and study are discussed. The proofreading samples, the exit survey questions and the Mini-Marker Personality Inventory, the informed consent form, and results tables are included.

A conceptual model examining the antecedents and outcomes of occupational self-efficacy among the older workforce is presented. Proposed antecedents to occupational self-efficacy included self-perceived stereotypes and work demands.
