Prenatal genetic diagnostic and screening tests have been rapidly evolving over the past decade with the introduction and expansion of cell free DNA screening (cfDNA) and the use of chromosomal microarray (CMA) as a first-line test for evaluation of fetal anomalies. Understanding patient motivations for or against expanded genetic testing options is paramount, therefore this study aimed to ascertain the patient perspective. Ninety-nine patients with an ultrasound anomaly participated in an anonymous, cross-sectional, research survey assessing coping strategies, factors influencing the genetic testing decision, and demographic variables. Objectives – Previous research has characterized urban healthcare providers' information needs, using various qualitative methods. However, little is known about the needs of rural primary care practitioners in Brazil. Communication exchanged during tele-consultations presents a unique data source for the study of these information needs. In this study, I characterize rural healthcare providers' information needs expressed electronically, using automated methods.

Mood disorders are the most common form of mental illness and one of the leading causes of morbidity worldwide. Major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder have a lifetime prevalence of 16.2% and 4.4%, respectively. Women comprise a substantial proportion of this population, and an estimated 500,000 pregnancies each year involve women with a psychiatric condition. Management with psychotropic medications is considered standard of care for most patients with mood disorders. However, many of these medications are known human teratogens.
