This paper has a main objective of identifying the relationship between environmental factors and climate change on operating costs incurred by firms. This paper also attempts to compare the direction and intensity of the effect on different sectors in order to analyze whether climate change effect differs based on the nature of the business operations. In the 21st century, public opinion's attention in developed nations has increasingly been directed to climate change and the urgency for humanity to take action.
