The study aimed to identify the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in ‏ ‎community service through the following dimensions: (dissemination of culture and‏ ‎providing consultancy, scientific research, training and continuing education). The‏ ‎study also aimed to identify the most obstacles that limit the role of Omar Al- ‎Mukhtar University in community service, as well as identifying whether there was a‏ ‎substantial statistically significant differences between the average of the Faculty‏ ‎members viewpoints on the role of Omar Al-Mukhtar University in community‏ ‎service, due to some of the following demographic variables: gender, age,‏ ‎educational qualification, degree, length of service.
