Firstly, from the perspective of the internal consistency between the characteristics of Chinese path to modernization and the Internet spirit, this study reveals the importance of developing the digital economy for achieving Chinese path to modernization, and expounds the internal logic of digital economy enabling Chinese path to modernization.
