The Role Of Inflation In Soviet History: Prices, Living Standards, And Political Change, Steven M. Efremov

This thesis discusses the interaction between inflation, living standards, and political change in Soviet/Russian history. It traces the establishment and evolution of the Soviet monetary system, inflationary episodes, and their consequences. The goal of this study is to show how inflation affects the lives of ordinary people and how it has contributed to larger changes in Soviet history. Sources include economic statistics and analysis from articles and monographs, as well as first-hand accounts from interviews and newspapers. The results show that inflation was a factor in both the rise and the fall of the Soviet Union. Russia's first hyperinflation (1917-1923) …

The main topic of this paper is the financial solvency, or “the ability to pay all debts,” of the United States government (“solvency,” n.d.). The questions posed and analyzed are 1) is the American government solvent, 2) did Standard and Poor’s accurately downgrade the American debt, and 3) how does the national debt affect the solvency of the American government. This paper examines the effects of a brand character or mascot on the brand and social media interactions. A case study was conducted on the recent introduction of Johnson City Power Board's new mascot Will Power. Facebook statistics were used to determine the amount of interaction certain posts received on the Johnson City Power Board's Facebook Page. Will Power posts received more interactions than any other topic for the Power Board.
