Current article studies the issue of ariya (borrowing something without any payment), its Sharia rulings and types which are based on socio-legal relations in the sources of the classical period of the Hanaf school. An important feature of researching the issue of ariya in the sources of Islamic law is that along with the regulation of social relations between people, it will be a solution to today’s pressing problems in this area.
