The Retired Executives Advisory Panel (REAP) Sun Coast Papers were donated to the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library to serve as a record of that organization’s activities during its first two decades. Formed in 1977 and incorporated in 1978, the Retired Executives Advisory Panel (REAP) provided civic leadership on important issues faced by residents of Pinellas County. Members-- who joined by invitation only--included retired business executives who sought to “advance the economic, cultural, social, and civic resources of the community.” Monthly meetings included roundtable discussions, project overviews, and guest speakers familiar with issues facing the residents of Pinellas County.
