To circumvent the problem of multicollinearity, biased estimation method has been suggested to improve the precision of estimators. In this paper, we study types of biased estimators that can help to reduce the effect of multicollinearity on estimation. A simulation study is carried out to study the relative effectiveness of certain types of biased estimators in comparison to some proposed estimated ridge parameter (k) that have been shown in the literature . Moreover, a real data set has been considered to support the simulation results based on the estimated mean square error criterion.

In this article the peristaltic transport of blood flow Ree-Eyring electrically conducting fluid in a porous medium under the effect of magnetohydrodynamic and temperature dependent viscosity through asymmetric channel is examined. Nonlinear Lane –Emden equations are significant in astrophysics and mathematical physics. The aim of this paper is submitted a new approximate method for finding solution to nonlinear Lane-Emden type equations appearing in astrophysics based on modified Hermite integration operational matrix. The suggest technique is based on taking the truncated modified Hermite series of the solution function in the nonlinear Lane-Emden equation and then changed into a matrix equation with the given conditions. Nonlinear system of algebraic equation using collection points is obtained. The present method is applied on some relevant physical problems as nonlinear Lane-Emden type equations.

In this paper, we describe the cases of marriage and divorce in the city of Baghdad on both sides of Rusafa and Karkh, we collected the data in this research from the Supreme Judicial Council and used the cubic spline interpolation method to estimator the function that passing through given points as well as the extrapolation method was applied to estimate the cases of marriage and divorce for the next year and comparison between Rusafa and Karkh by using the MATLAB program.

In this paper, the approximation method was used for solving optimal control problem (OCP), two techniques for state parameterization and control parameterization have been considered with the aid of Scaling Polynomials (SBP) represent a new important technique for solving (OCP’s). The algorithms were illustrated by several numerical examples using Matlab program. The results were evaluated and graphed to show the accuracy of the methods.

The orthogonal Boubaker polynomials and their operational matrix of derivatives were deduced, introduced a new efficient approximate method for solving Lane-Emden equation with initial conditions via collocation method. Some numerical examples were given to demonstrate the applicability of this method. The results have been compared with exact solutions to show that they achieved a high accuracy.

In this current work, by using a relation of subordination, we define a new subclass of starlike harmonic functions. We get coefficient bounds, distortion theorems, extreme points, convolution and convex combinations for this class of functions.
