This study was conducted to find out to what extent the student load at the Paradise Valley School of Nursing was conductive to a well balance life and to make recommendations which might guide the faculty in curriculum planning.

The normative-survey was the method used to gather data from the faculty and students of the Paradise Valley School of Nursing. Interviews and two guide sheets were used to gather information from fourteen instructors regarding their course requirements and their estimates of balanced living for students.
