Rehabilitation Of An Injured Golden Eagle (Aquila Chrysaetos): A Case Study, Fida Muhammad Khan, Fakhar-I- Abbas, Abu Ul Hassan Faiz
Journal of Bioresource Management
Habitat destruction and anthropogenic activities cause wild birds to migrate towards urban areas in search of food and sometimes nesting in high-roof buildings, where they are caught by local people using different techniques and are further used for hunting or recreational purposes. An injured Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) was found entangled in bushes near the vicinity of Balkasar Research Complex, Chakwal, Pakistan. After complete physical examination, a wound on the right wing and closed leg fracture was diagnosed. The successful treatment was done by anti-parasitic and anti-bacterial drugs with careful monitoring. Splint was adjusted after aligning the fractured …

A Rhetoric To Climate Change Fashion: Base Of The Biomass Pyramid Is An Underestimated Carbon Sink, Syed Abbas, Ehjaz R. Abbas
Journal of Bioresource Management
This writing is an attempt to present few wild ideas, rhetoric to climate change fashion. We discussed the possibility of escaped fertilizers being produced globally and their possible role in capturing atmospheric carbon believing that some factors of climate change are being ignored while other are being over emphasized.

Chitral is a unique division ofPakistanin North western extremes of the country lies in the Hindukush range. Because of its isolation from other adjacent areas, its ecology is least disturbed and also lacks the proper scientific checklist of its flora and fauna. This study is designed to explore its various regions to gather the data of both Passerines and Non- passerines currently present in the region. Several visits will be made, birds will be searched, pictures will be taken and after identification checklist will be formulated and its comparison with existing data will be reported.

Pythons are facing the threat of extinction due to human annihilation and interference in natural habitats of pythons. Indian rock python (Python molurus) has been stated as Lower Risk/Near Threatened by International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Therefore, there is an intense need to change the perception of people and encourage them to coincide with this big snake. Current study involved the rescue and rehabilitation of an Indian rock python (P. molurus) spotted at the shrine of Baba Shah Jeevan, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Python was grasped by skilled snake catchers and taken to the wildlife …

A Study On Status And Distribution Of Passeriformes In Bagh District Of Azad Kashmir, Zahid Bhatti
Journal of Bioresource Management
The Passeriformes is the largest and most diverse commonly recognized clade of birds including more than seventy families. The reed beds are important habitats for several passerine bird species and the abundance of these species seem to be influenced by vegetation structure. Passerines feed mainly on insects, nuts and seeds collected from trees and shrubs in summer. In winter their feeding behavior changes and they feed on berries and fruits (Roberts, 1992). This study was conducted to prepare and compare the new checklist and distribution of Passeriformes in District Bagh in Azad Kashmir with the previous one for getting new …
