The purpose of this project was to develop and examine a computerized interactive probability applet designed to teach basic concepts of probability. The applet design was intended to be a user-friendly way to encourage understanding of basic probability concepts such as, rules of probability, probabilities of mutually exclusive events, and the multiplication rule. Thirty participants were recruited from Utah State University and were asked to participate in the evaluation process of the probability applet.
