This study focused on the development of a mathematical model required for estimating the number of adopters of ICT devices among libraries located in Nigeria. Data for this study was collected from 121 respondents selected based on a research survey approach using simple random sampling. 9 ICT devices were identified, namely: PCs, printers/fax machines, search engines, e-library systems, bulk SMS services, library management systems, bar/QR code readers, projectors and video conferencing. The data of this study were obtained from the Scopus database using the keywords: ( TITLE-ABS-KEY (forecast) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY (covid)) and the data were taken on March 26, 2021. A bibliometric analysis of scientific research production of the top five most productive countries in comparison with India in nuclear and high energy physics is presented during the period 1996-2019 using Scopus-linked SCImago electronic database. Using bibliometric data obtained from Scopus, this study employed a 15-year bibliometric analysis to highlight Nigeria’s productivity and impact trends in the computer science research landscape. The present study deals with the assessment of Indian optics research output as reflected in Web of Science (WOS) database for the period 2008 to 2018 for identifying the research output in the field of optics literature. It also provides a comparative evaluation and performance of different types of scientometric indicators, such as number of publications, number of citations and collaboration from India. The Indian optics research has increased exponentially over the last decade.

Scientometrics has emerged as one of the prominent and fast-growing fields in the Library and Information Sciences. The present study also deals with the scientometric aspect of one of the prominent fields of Nuclear Science and Technology i.e. Nuclear Waste Management. The data for the said study has been collected from the Web of Science database over the period 1989-2019.
