Novel Random Models Of Entity Mobility Models And Performance Analysis Ofrandom Entity Mobility Models, Meti̇n Bi̇lgi̇n

Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences

It has become possible to collect data from geographically large areas with smart devices that are prevalently used today. Sensors that are integrated into smart devices make it possible for these devices to receive and transmit data wirelessly. The most important problem of this model that is known as mobile crowd sensing and that allows inferences on the data obtained from its users is lack of data. The main reason for this problem is the lack of sufficient usage of the sensors on devices by the user. To increase the amount of data collected, while users may be incentivized in …

Function Mining For The $$-N$_{Ch}$ Correlations In Pp And Pp(Bar) Collisions Based On Symbolic Regression, Elsayed Eldahshan Jan 2018

Function Mining For The $$-N$_{Ch}$ Correlations In Pp And Pp(Bar) Collisions Based On Symbolic Regression, Elsayed Eldahshan

Turkish Journal of Physics

The investigation and analysis of the correlation between the mean transverse momentum () of charged particles and the charged particle multiplicity ($N_{ch}$) allow physicists to understand the contribution of multiple-parton interactions to the particle production mechanism. A symbolic regression (SR) method, based on gene expression programming (GEP), is proposed for mining a function that describes the -$N_{ch}$ correlation in proton-proton and proton-antiproton (pp and pp(bar)) collisions at collision energies from IRS to LHC. The discovered function simulates and models the correlation between and $N_{ch}$ in wide energy range $s^{1/2}$. In the framework of the proposed GEP model for $-N_{ch}$ correlation, …

In this paper, we present a new approach for estimating the one-diode model parameters of a photovoltaic solar panel according to the irradiance and temperature. These parameters are given, at a known irradiance and temperature, from the knowledge of three operating points: short circuit, open circuit, and maximum power. In the first step, the adopted approach concerns the resolution of the system of equations constituting the three operating points to write all the model parameters according to series resistance. Secondly, we make an iterative resolution at the optimal operating point by using the Newton--Raphson method to calculate the series resistance …
