The Significance Of Sonic Branding To Strategically Stimulate Consumer Behavior: Content Analysis Of Four Interviews From Jeanna Isham’S “Sound In Marketing” Podcast, Ina Beilina
Student Theses and Dissertations
Purpose:
Sonic branding is not just about composing jingles like McDonald’s “I’m Lovin’ It.” Sonic branding is an industry that strategically designs a cohesive auditory component of a brand’s corporate identity. This paper examines the psychological impact of music and sound on consumer behavior reviewing studies from the past 40 years and investigates the significance of stimulating auditory perception by infusing sound in consumer experience in the modern 2020s.
Design/methodology/approach:
Qualitative content analysis of audio media was used to test two hypotheses. Four archival oral interview recordings from Jeanna Isham’s podcast “Sound in Marketing” featuring the sonic branding experts …
Quantum Mechanics-Based Computational Chemistry Has Become A Powerful Partner In The Scientific Research Of Nitrogen-Rich Compounds, Paving The Way For Important Advances In Biochemical, Pharmacological And Other Related Fields, Dobrushe Denburg
Student Theses and Dissertations
The Computational Chemistry of Nitrogen-Rich Compounds; Insight into Pioneering Research
Nitrogen-rich functional groups have long been studied for their diversity; nitrogen can form single, double and triple bonds with itself, and will therefore exist in a very broad range of molecular arrangements. Poly-nitrogen compounds are highly energetic and electron rich, and many compounds display unique properties that allow participation in very specialized chemical reactions. Of import is their ubiquity in biological systems, and throughout the past century and currently, their biological relevance is deeply and widely explored in biochemistry and biomedicine, from their involvement in natural biological processes and complex …
International Migration From The Latin American-Caribbean Region: Taking Environmental Indicators Into Consideration, Chelsea Wepy
International Migration From The Latin American-Caribbean Region: Taking Environmental Indicators Into Consideration, Chelsea Wepy
Student Theses and Dissertations
International migration, the act of leaving one’s country to permanently settle in another country, is driven by many socio economic/political factors, such as lack of economic opportunity, access to education, governmental corruption, and violence. These factors have proven to be the reason that many citizens within the Latin American-Caribbean region either choose or are forced to relocate internationally. While these factors are important to consider independently; these issues are often exacerbated by changes in the natural environment. The objective of my paper is to highlight the importance of considering changes in the natural environment. In doing so, I hope to …
Emerging Technologies In Healthcare: Analysis Of Unos Data Through Machine Learning, Reyhan Merekar
Emerging Technologies In Healthcare: Analysis Of Unos Data Through Machine Learning, Reyhan Merekar
Student Theses and Dissertations
The healthcare industry is primed for a massive transformation in the coming decades due to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. With a practical application to the UNOS (United Network of Organ Sharing) database, this Thesis seeks to investigate how Machine Learning and analytic methods may be used to predict one-year heart transplantation outcomes. This study also sought to improve on predictive performances from prior studies by analyzing both Donor and Recipient data. Models built with algorithms such as Stacking and Tree Boosting gave the highest performance, with AUC’s of 0.6810 and 0.6804, respectively. In this …
The Distribution Of The Greatest Common Divisor Of Elements In Quadratic Integer Rings, Asimina S. Hamakiotes
The Distribution Of The Greatest Common Divisor Of Elements In Quadratic Integer Rings, Asimina S. Hamakiotes
Student Theses and Dissertations
For a pair of quadratic integers n and m chosen randomly, uniformly, and independently from the set of quadratic integers of norm x or less, we calculate the probability that the greatest common divisor of (n,m) is k. We also calculate the expected norm of the greatest common divisor (n,m) as x tends to infinity, with explicit error terms. We determine the probability and expected norm of the greatest common divisor for quadratic integer rings that are unique factorization domains. We also outline a method to determine the probability and expected norm of the greatest …
Volatility Analysis Of Us Equity And Federal Funds Markets Through The Recent Financial Crisis And Recovery Periods, Based On Release Of Fomc Meeting Statements And Minutes, Hanxiao Yue
Student Theses and Dissertations
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is the principal maker of monetary policy in the United States. The main instrument of monetary policy is the target federal funds rate, which is de facto the base interest rate of the US economy. The FOMC meets around eight times a year to discuss the economic outlook and decide on this metric. Throughout most of its history, the Fed has been opaque about how it decides on monetary policy, but in recent years it has adopted a more transparent disclosure policy. For each FOMC meeting, it currently releases a brief statement immediately after …
Characterization Of 1, 4, 7-Trithiacyclononane, [9]Anes3 As A Potential Toxic Heavy Metal Chelator, Nahid Bakhtari
Characterization Of 1, 4, 7-Trithiacyclononane, [9]Anes3 As A Potential Toxic Heavy Metal Chelator, Nahid Bakhtari
Student Theses and Dissertations
Toxic heavy metal poisoning with metals including lead, mercury, and cadmium, whether in the environment or through ingestion, remains a persistent problem. Remediation of metal contamination and poisoning has generally been treated with chelating agents that bind metals, rendering them inert, and allow for easier removal. Chelation involves the formation of two or more separate coordinate covalent bonds between a polydentate ligand and a single central atom. However, chelators are not without side effects. Due to the similar size of metal ions and lack of specificity of ligands, chelators can also remove beneficial metals like iron and zinc from the …
