Environmental Impacts Of Seawater Desalination On The Marine Environment In The Kingdom Of Bahrain, Waleed Al-Zubari, Alaa Elsadek, Mohamed Khadim
Environmental Impacts Of Seawater Desalination On The Marine Environment In The Kingdom Of Bahrain, Waleed Al-Zubari, Alaa Elsadek, Mohamed Khadim
Emirates Journal for Engineering Research
The main water planning and management challenge facing Bahrain is in how to balance water availability and water use on a long-term basis in the face of increasing demands under the least economic and environmental costs and without endangering socio-economic development. To meet escalating municipal water demands desalination is becoming inevitable, which is associated with substantial financial, economic, and environmental costs. In this research, the environmental impact of seawater desalination on the surrounding marine environment is assessed at a government-owned MSF desalination plant (Sitra Power and Water Station (SPWS)). The assessment used a number of environmental indicators, namely temperature and …

Representation Of Nonlinear Pseudo-Random Generators Using State-Space Equations, Raghad K. Salih
Emirates Journal for Engineering Research
The idea of research is a representation of the nonlinear pseudo-random generators using state-space equations that is not based on the usual description as shift register synthesis but in terms of matrices. Different types of nonlinear pseudo-random generators with their algorithms have been applied in order to investigate the output pseudo-random sequences. Moreover, two examples are given for conciliated the results of this representation.
Morgan- Voyce Approach For Solution Bratu Problems, Bushra Eesa Kashiem
Morgan- Voyce Approach For Solution Bratu Problems, Bushra Eesa Kashiem
Emirates Journal for Engineering Research
Bratu equations are substantial in electrostatic and plasma problem. The aim of this paper is design a morgan-voyce approach for solving bratu problem. We present a morgan-voyce polynomial along with significant properties; the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by considering three numerical examples.
