Determination Of The Global Heat Transfer Coefficient Of A Double Heat Exchanger Battery In A Dry Mode., B. Dieng, G. Jaw, A. Kane, I. Diagne, M. Dieng, G. Sissoko

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

The cold battery is a heat exchanger between two fluids, air (secondary fluid) and iced water (primary fluid). The cold battery is composed of two heat exchangers in series, one of which is made up of flat-plate in galvanized steel serving as a reservoir for the iced water and the other one a copper shelland-tube exchanger with aluminum cooling blades. The two heat exchangers a connected pipe of the same diameter. These pipes will permit the transit of the iced water coming from the flat-plate exchanger by gravitation towards the tubes of the second exchanger. These two heat exchangers are incorporated …

Non Parametric Trend Analysis Of Climate Change In Lower Bagmati River Basin In Northern India, M. .P Akhtar, Amrendra Kumar, Deepak Khare Sep 2015

Non Parametric Trend Analysis Of Climate Change In Lower Bagmati River Basin In Northern India, M. .P Akhtar, Amrendra Kumar, Deepak Khare

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

This study is conducted to observe the temporal variability of rainfall and temperature for 102 years (1901- 2002) in the Lower Bagmati River Basin in Northern India. Annual and monsoon rainfall time series is considered to investigate the trend using non parametric methods. Trend in 102 years span indicates reduced basin water potential in

Creep Properties Of Local Variety Of Lime (Lemun Tsami) Under Quasi-Static Loading, Dakogol F. A, Obetta, S. E, Ijabo O. .J

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Local variety of lime (Lemun tsami) was subjected to quasi-static compressive loading using Instron Universal Testing Machine at three levels of time after harvest; freshly harvested, one and two weeks after harvest. Creep parameters were determined by fitting the experimental data to the Burger’s Model and the obtained model equation for freshly harvested was: 𝑱 𝒕 = 𝟏. 𝟖𝟒𝟑 + 𝟐. 𝟓𝟗[ 1 – е (-t/2.933) ]+ 𝒕 𝟏𝟏𝟔𝟎.𝟎𝟗𝟑 , R 2 = 0.98. The instantaneous creep compliance (Jo) was; 1.843, 3.137 and 4.116 1/MPa for freshly harvested, one and two weeks after harvest respectively while the corresponding instantaneous elasticity …

Adsorption Of Co2 Molecule On The (Mgo)9 And (Cao)9 Nanoclusters; A Theoretical Study, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Fathi Hassan Bawa Apr 2015

Adsorption Of Co2 Molecule On The (Mgo)9 And (Cao)9 Nanoclusters; A Theoretical Study, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Fathi Hassan Bawa

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Binding configurations of CO2 on (MgO)9 and (CaO)9 cluster models are investigated by means of density functional theory model calculations. The results show that CO2 adsorbs as monodentate on MgO and CaO terrace site leads to formation of surface carbonates CO3 2- . Marginal differences in the binding stabilities between the CO2 molecule and surface O2- site were found to be significantly similar. The estimated adsorption energies are 1.47 eV and 1.52 eV at the (MgO)9 and (CaO)9 clusters, respectively. The similarity in binding energies is discussed in terms of cluster electropositivity. Adsorbed CO2, to (MgO)9 surface vibration frequencies are …

Fabrication Of Sno2/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite Films For Sensing No2 Gas At Room-Temperature, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Pi-Guey Su, Ching-Hsuan Wei A, Wei-Luen Shiu Apr 2015

Fabrication Of Sno2/Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanocomposite Films For Sensing No2 Gas At Room-Temperature, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Pi-Guey Su, Ching-Hsuan Wei A, Wei-Luen Shiu

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

One-pot polyol process was combined with metal organic decomposition (MOD) method to fabricate a room-temperature NO2 gas sensor based on tin dioxide and reduced graphene oxide (SO2/RGO) nanocomposite films. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to analyze the structure and morphology of the fabricated films. The electrical and NO2 gas-sensing properties of SnO2 to which various amounts of RGO were added were measured in detail as a function of concentration of NO2 gas at room temperature, to elucidate the contribution of RGO to the NO2 gas-sensing capacity. The sensor that was based on a nanocomposite film …

Sufficient Condition For Complete Graphs And Hamiltonian Graphs, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, S.Venu Madava Sarma, T.V. Pradeep Kumar

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

In 1856, Hamiltonian introduced the Hamiltonian Graph where a Graph which is covered all the vertices without repetition and end with starting vertex. In this paper I would like to prove that every Complete Graph ‘G’ having n ≥ 5 vertices, such that n is odd. If for all pairs of nonadjacent vertices u, v one has du + dv ≥ n − 2, then G has a Hamiltonian path.

Belpatra (Aegel Marmelos) Bark Powder As An Adsorbent For The Color Removal Of Textile Dye “Torque Blue”, Innovative Research Publications Irp India, Vandana Gupta, Anupam Agarwal, M. K. Singh

Innovative Research Publications IRP India

Adsorption is used as a potential method for the removal of color (dye) from industrial waste water. In this paper an easily available low cost Belpatra (Aegel marmelos) bark powder was used as an adsorbent for the removal of textile dye Torque Blue. For the present work several experiments were conducted at different adsorbent dosage, pH, temperature, dye concentration, particle size, and contact time in a batch adsorption mode. The experimental results revealed that maximum adsorption capacity of Belpatra bark powder on Torque blue dye was found to be 98% at an adsorbent dosage of 0.7gm in 100 ml dye …
