Shale gas of transitional facies is the important replacing area for increase of shale gas reserves and production. On the basis of the experiment and research data of shale of transitional facies of Linxing area in the eastern margin of Ordos Basin, by selecting the strata series of Shanxi Formation, Taiyuan Formation and Benxi Formation as the research object, from the sedimentary environments, shale distribution, organic geochemical characteristics, mineralogy, physical characteristics and gas-bearing characteristics, etc., the geology characteristics of the shale gas transitional facies in the study area were summarized and dissected systematically to analyze its enrichment and reservoir-forming potential. …

The treatment and discharge of high salt mine water is one of the important factors affecting efficient coal mining in recent years. It is a worth exploring method to reduce the discharge of mine water by selecting the appropriate aquifer under the floor of the coal seam and transferring the high salt mine water to other places. Taking the X mine in the Ordos Basin as an example, the Baotashan sandstone and the deep Liujiagou Formation sandstone formation below the coal seam have transfer storage space. In the northwest of Ordos Basin, there is serious random interference in the complex area, which leads to the low signal-to-noise ratio of seismic data in this area. In order to solve the problem of low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of seismic data in this area, a method study of suppressing random interference by geophone array is carried. The 6th coal seam of the Carboniferous Permian in a coal mine in the Ordos Basin of Inner Mongolia is an extra-thick coal seam with an average minable thickness of 17.0 m. Its floor is threatened by limestone water. Distributed sensing optical fiber technology and cross-hole resistivity CT in situ comprehensive testing technology were used in the field, and the response characteristics of strain field and geoelectric field were obtained successively during mining.
