Development Of Thermal Sensors By Implantation Ions P+ And B+ In Different Sides Of Si(111), I. R. Bekpulatov, A. S. Rysbaev, Sh. Kh. Dzhuraev, A. S. Kasymov

Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials

In the method of high-phase ion implantation of P + and B + to different sides of monocrystal silicon we obtained p-i-n- structure, which has a high thermal sensitivity of 2.3 mV/K in a broad band temperature of (20 ÷ 550) K. We studied the distribution profile P and B atoms implanted in the Si gradually decreasing energy. The effect of the subsequent thermal and annealing IR profile on the distribution of the atoms and the characteristics of the temperature sensor was studied.

Improved Gas Sensing Performance Of Ald Azo 3-D Coated Zno Nanorods, P. Lin, X. Chen, K. Zhang, H. Baumgart

Electrical & Computer Engineering Faculty Publications

This paper reports an enhancement on the sensing performance of ZnO nanorod ethanol sensors with a new approach by utilizing nested coatings of Aluminum doped ZnO (AZO) thin films by Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology. ZnO nanorods were grown by the hydrothermal method with the ZnO seed layer synthesized on Silicon wafers by ALD. To enhance the sensing performance of ZnO nanorod ethanol sensors, multiple coated AZO thin film 3-D coatings were deposited on the surface of the intrinsic ZnO nanorods by ALD.To investigate the sensing performance of the ZnO nanorods sensor for the detection of ethanol vapor, a gas …

Legacy Theses & Dissertations (2009 - 2024)

Nucleic acid technology along with vast variety of nanomaterials has demonstrated a great potential in many applications from biosensing studies to molecular diagnostics, from biomedical and bioanalytical research to environmental analysis. Especially short single stranded (ss) DNA molecules, called oligonucleotides, are extraordinary biopolymers featuring diverse functionality on the nanoparticles thanks to their high degree of programmability, target-specific binding or cleavage, molecular recognition ability, structure-switching capability, and unique interactions at the bio-nano interfaces. Among those, there have been many biosensing applications utilizing ss DNAs and numerous nanomaterials through various detection techniques such as fluorometric, colorimetric or electrochemical methods. Although many groundbreaking …
