Through the use of a group counseling format in conjunction with the adventme activities, participants in the growing number of adventure-based counseling programs are gaining a better understanding of the consequences of their behavior patterns. The purpose of this investigation was to identify those group counseling skills relevant to adventure based counseling. The subjects were the supervisors and counselors from the adventure based programs. Participants were asked to respond to a mailed questionnaire.
