The Seedskadee Project is a participating project in the Colorado River Storage Project. Principle features of the project are the Fontenelle Dam, Powerplant, and Reservoir. The project is located on the Green River some 24 miles southeast of LaBarge, Wyoming in Lincoln County. The dam is located at latitude: 42.0285593 - longitude: -110.0604315. The project features, along with worker housing, were built beginning in 1961 and completed in 1964. The houses and associated infrastructure (road) are in need of extensive renovation. Therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement will not be required. A review of existing land-use planning decisions is being conducted to evaluate how to best manage public lands, resources, educational opportunities, and other values associated with the recent discovery of dinosaur tracks on BLM-administered public lands near Shell, Wyoming. The tracks were not addressed in the Washakie Resource Management Plan (RMP) which was completed in 1988. A review of BLM's planning decisions for the discovery area is needed to evaluate the adequacy of existing management prescriptions for the protection of the tracks and related values.

A planning review, including public participation, is being conducted to evaluate the management implications, needs, and issues associated with the discovery of uniquely preserved fossil plants in the former Washakie Resource Area (now part of the Bighorn Basin Resource Area) of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) Worland District. The Big Cedar Ridge Fossil Plant Area (the planning review area) is comprised of about 1,550 acres of BLM-administered federal land surface and federally-owned minerals in and around the fossil discovery site.
