Advances In Polymer Based Friedlander Quinoline Synthesis, Rajendra Patil, Jagdish Chavan, Shivnath Patel, Anil Beldar

Turkish Journal of Chemistry

Nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds has acquired their remarkable and distinct place in the wide area of organic synthesis due to the broad range of applications. Among them, quinoline motifs have attracted researchers in the synthetic chemistry because of its presence in the large number of pharmacologically active compounds. Different methods for synthesis of quinoline derivatives are reported, among them the Friedlander synthesis have provided comparatively more efficient approach. Many of the reported conventional Friedlander methodologies have some problems such as difficult product isolation procedures, poor yields and use of expensive catalysts, etc. Recently, polymer or solid supported synthetic approaches have …

A Comparative Study On Fabrication Of Cu$_{2}$Znsns$_{4}$ (Czts) Nanofibers Using Acetate And Chloride Metal Precursors, Burak Zafer Büyükbekar, Faruk Özel, Hüseyi̇n Şakalak, Hali̇t Çavuşoğlu, Mustafa Ersöz, Mahmut Kuş, Mustafa Selman Yavuz Jan 2015

A Comparative Study On Fabrication Of Cu$_{2}$Znsns$_{4}$ (Czts) Nanofibers Using Acetate And Chloride Metal Precursors, Burak Zafer Büyükbekar, Faruk Özel, Hüseyi̇n Şakalak, Hali̇t Çavuşoğlu, Mustafa Ersöz, Mahmut Kuş, Mustafa Selman Yavuz

Turkish Journal of Chemistry

This study reports, for the first time, the fabrication of electrospun Cu$_{2}$ZnSnS$_{4}$ (CZTS) nanofibers using metal acetate precursors. Viscous poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) solution containing acetate or chloride salts of copper, zinc, and tin was electrospun onto a conductive substrate. The PVP nanofibers that have a mixture of metal salts were annealed at elevated temperatures. After calcination, these nanofibers were treated with the sulfur source and then annealed again in order to generate CZTS nanofibers. The CZTS nanofibers generated from acetate and chloride salts were characterized and compared. Belt-like and wire-like nanofibers were obtained when using metal acetate and chloride precursors, …

Vibrational Spectra And Assignments Of Cis- And Trans-1,4-Polybutadiene, P. Nallasamy, P.M. Anbarasan, S. Mohan Jan 2002

Vibrational Spectra And Assignments Of Cis- And Trans-1,4-Polybutadiene, P. Nallasamy, P.M. Anbarasan, S. Mohan

Turkish Journal of Chemistry

The Raman spectra of cis- and trans-1,4- polybutadiene were recorded in the region 100-4000 cm^{-1} and its infrared spectra were also measured in the wave number range 200--4000 cm^{-1}. The spectra were completely analysed. Probable assignments to observed bands were made with the help of intensities and normal co-ordinate analysis. The calculated normal frequencies were in good agreement with the experimental ones.
