The objective of this work is focused on the preparation and characterization of plan microfiltration membrane Zn₃Al-Gh and the study of their efficiency in the treatment of ground water. This membrane was carried by using the support of the clay such as Ghassoul ‘Gh’ prepared by using dry uniaxial compaction method. The layered double hydroxides (LDH) based on Zn₃Al-CO₃with molar ratio (Zn²⁺/Al³⁺=3) was deposited on support by direct co-precipitation method.
