In this study, the possible protective effect of red radish containing total phenolic content and antioxidant components on histopathological and immuno histochemical active caspase-3, TNF-α and Iba-1, serum ALT activity, triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, liver malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitric oxide (NO) levels were evaluated in CCl4induced liver injury in Wistar rats. The rats were randomly divided into six groups (n= 12 to each group).
