There is a lack of research in the professions of physical therapy and occupational therapy. To be more specific, the areas of stress and burnout have been topics of research within the healthcare field for medical physicians and nurses, but currently there is little research looking at stress and burnout for physical therapists and occupational therapists. This study sought to find a relationship between students’ university grade point average and physical therapy treatment compliance. While other researchers have shown how important compliance is and have investigated factors that affect compliance and GPA separately, no one has studied how GPA and physical therapy treatment compliance are related. We investigated how these two factors interacted and were influenced by other aspects in a population that had not received much attention in literature regarding treatment compliance. For my Honors Project I decided to create a set of exercise cards for children with autism. The front of each card had a picture symbolizing the exercise/activity, and on the back included directions, supplies and tips to complete the activity. The following is a selection of a few exercise cards from each of the four exercise sections, as well as the title card, table of contents cards, information cards, and source cards.
