Immunization is one of the most cost-effective public health interventions, averting an estimated 2 to 3 million deaths every year. Before the coronavirus pandemic, more than nearly 14 million children didn't receive any vaccines, and 19 million children below the age did not receive the recommended vaccines in 2019. COVID 19 is leaving many of the world's most marginalized children without access to immunization services. The Unmet Need for Family Planning (KB) in 2019 is still far from the 2015-2019 Strategic Plan target set at 9.91 percent. Seventeen provinces have a percentage of Unmet Need KB above the national figure (14.4 percent). One of them is WestJava Province, with a percentage of Unmet Need of 14.8%. In practice, pharmacy education in Indonesia is considered not sufficient to prepare the pharmacy workforce. This study quantifies the transmission potential of SARS-CoV-2 across public health districts in Georgia, USA, and tests if per capita cumulative case count varies across counties. To estimate the time-varying reproduction number, Rt of SARS-CoV-2 in Georgia and its 18 public health districts, we apply the R package ‘EpiEstim’ to the time series of historical daily incidence of confirmed cases, 2 March–15 December 2020. The epidemic curve is shifted backward by nine days to account for the incubation period and delay to testing. In this review, state-of-the-art evidence on the relationship between cannabis use, traffic crash risks, and driving safety were analyzed. Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and other relevant papers published within the last decade were systematically searched and synthesized. Findings show that meta-analyses and culpability studies consistently indicate a slightly but significantly increased risk of crashes after acute cannabis use. These risks vary across included study type, crash severity, and method of substance application and measurement. Some studies show a significant correlation between high THC blood concentrations and car crash risk. Most studies do not support this relationship at lower THC concentrations. However, …

Investigating the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) yearly data sets from 2011 to 2019, I illustrate the numerous health decade averages that exist at the county level within the state of Arkansas. These health decade averages are representative of both health factors and health outcomes as measured by the RWJF. The decade averages are compared both nationally and at the county level. I reveal both the positive and negative decade averages that exist within the state, and ideally, to encourage further original study. This is accomplished through a narrative and summative approach of the existing data.

BACKGROUND: An estimated between 257 and 292 million people live with chronic HBV globally. While much is known about the causes, and epidemiology of HBV, little is understood about the quality of life and impact of HBV on those living with the infection.

Objectives. COVID-19 outbreak brings a challenge to healthcare systems. The sex, age, and cardiometabolic comorbidities have been considered risk factors for disease severity. To evaluate the association between risk factors with death as well the risk of death in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Methods. The present cross-sectional cohort study, includes hospitalized SARS‑CoV‑2 confirmed cases. Data analysis was performed using the National COVID‑19 Cases Report Database. Pearson´s χ² test and odds ratios (95% CI) were calculated to determine the association between variables. Thereafter, risk of death was evaluated by Cox proportional hazards model.

This formative research elicits local terms used for postpartum illnesses and symptoms of postpartum sepsis with the aim of improving postpartum diagnosis and management in Pakistan.
