Determinan Yang Meningkatkan Risiko Terinfeksi Hiv Pada Wargabinaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Dan Rumah Tahanan Di Indonesia: Studi Tinjauan Pustaka 2007-2017, Mondastri Korib Sudaryo

Wargabinaan pemasyarakatan (WBP) diduga berisiko terinfeksi HIV selama tinggal di lembaga pemasyarakatan (lapas) dan rumah tahanan (rutan) akibat menyuntik narkotika dan perilaku berisiko lainnya. Studi ini bertujuan mengetahui determinan yang meningkatkan faktor risiko terinfeksi HIV di kalangan WBP di lapas/rutan di Indonesia. Rancangan studi adalah tinjauan pustaka sistematik (systematic literature review) yang merangkum dan membandingkan hasil studi dari 12 artikel yang diterbitkan sejak 2007 2017 di jurnal nasional/internasional berbahasa Inggris/Indonesia mengenai karakteristik dan determinan infeksi HIV pada populasi WBP yang tinggal di lapas/rutan di Indonesia. Karakteristik demografis WBP: umumnya laki laki; usia rata-rata 30 tahun (rentang: 21-51 tahun); sebagian besar <=SMU; setengahnya menikah. Prevalensi HIV di kalangan WBP di beberapa lapas: 10%-56%. Tiga survei nasional tahun 2011, 2013, 2015 menunjukkanprevalence rate antara 1,2% – 3%. Proporsi perilaku berisiko: menyuntik narkotika (antara 5% - 66%), berbagi jarum suntik (28%-47%), kontak seksual tidak aman dengan sesama WBP (2%-13%), atau dengan WPS (96%), pakai tattoo (2%-56%), atau tindik (5%-13%), minum alkohol (47%). Dari 3 survey yang sama tingkat prevalensi Sifilis antara 2,1%– 5%. Determinan/faktor risiko terinfeksi HIV: menggunakan narkotika suntik (OR antara 11,4 - 104,8), pakai tatoo (OR: 1,7 -2,4), pakai tindik (OR = 4,4), seks tidak aman (OR=1,9), terinfeksi Sifilis (OR=4,2). Faktor-faktor penting yang meningkatkan risiko terinfeksi HIV di kalangan WBP di lapas/rutan adalah penggunaan narkotika suntik, berbagi jarum suntik tidak steril, kontak seksual dengan sesama WBP &/ WPS, terinfeksi Sifilis dan memakai tato/tindik.

Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) merupakan indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat suatu negara. Sasaran RPJMN 2015-2019 di Indonesia AKI ditargetkan menjadi 306 pada tahun 2019. AKI di Kabupaten Serang tahun 2017 adalah 195/100.000 KH, atau 58 kasus dengan jumlah kelahiran hidup sebanyak 29.787 jiwa. Dari 58 kasus kematian ibu, 14 orang persalinan ditolong dukun (24,14%). The objective of this study was to examine whether there was a gender difference in the occurrence of hypertension in Indonesian people, after controlling for individual and environment factors. Data were ob tained from the Indonesia Basic Health Research 2007 and a cross sectional design was used. Samples consisted of 13.262 men and women age 15 years or more. A multilevel logistic regression was used to ana lyze the data. There was a statistically significant association between gender and hypertension. Women were less likely to have hypertension than men (OR 0.86 P value < 0.0033). There was an interaction between variable of gender and variable of age. It suggested that the probability of having hypertension in women and men was varied by the strata of age. In the strata of age more than 60 years, women were more likely to have hypertension than men (OR 1.25, P value 0.0065); in strata of age 30-59 years, there was no difference of having hypertension between women and men (P value > 0.05); in strata of age <30 years, women were less likely to have hypertension than men (OR 0.67 Pvalue 0.0000). Among women, there was an increased of having hypertension with age. Age of e” 60 years was the highest risk of having hypertension. Among men, there was an increased of having hypertension with age, but at in the age of e” 60 years the increased risk of having hypertension was not as high as in women.

Background: To determine the prevalence of hypertension and investigate sociodemographic correlates in an indigenous Kuna community living on the San Blas islands of Panama.

Methods: Data was collected from adults using a paper-based survey using a cross sectional study design. Blood pressure was measured, and hypertension defined at two cut-points: 130/80 mmHg and 140/90 mmHg. However, there is no widely-used statistical criterion which optimizes the parameters for sequence-based clustering methods. Methods: We analyzed 2012–2016 cancer mortality data from South Florida for white, Hispanic, and black populations with disaggregation for Cuban, Puerto Rican, South American, African American, and Afro-Caribbean groups. We calculated cancer site-specific and all-sites combined age-adjusted mortality rates, and we used negative binomial regression to determine mortality rate ratios to compare South Florida’s cancer mortality rates with those of the rest of the nation. This research project will study what marketing platforms/channels are most effective in the dissemination of new medical product news. Many people like myself have an illness/disease that requires daily medication, or require the daily use of a medical device. Due to the increasing influence of Direct to Consumer advertising of pharmaceuticals and the constant development of new medications and devices, patients may now more often go to the doctor with perceptions of what they should do to manage their illness/disease.
