Background: This study aimed to examine the effects of the Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) training interventions program on the knowledge and practical skills of health workers in managing birth asphyxia and reducing mortality within 24 hours. Methods: This study was pre- posttest design. Participants were purposively selected to participate in the study. Juba Hospital was selected as intervention and Wau Hospital as control. This study aimed to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices of long term care for the elderly among caregivers and to identify association between socio-demographic factors, knowledge, attitudes, and practices of long term care for the elderly among caregivers in Sisaket province.
A cross sectional descriptive study with a self-administered questionnaire was conducted among 209 caregivers in Sisaket province from March to July 2018. Analysis of the variables was done using univariate and bivariate at 95% confident interval by SPSS Version 16.

Nowadays, malaria did not exist as a forest-dependent disease and mainly impacted by migration, mostly to border areas. Migrant workers are distributor of Plasmodium species and their patterns of migration affected on malaria transmission. The study aimed to identify migration pattern of border migrant people and the factors associated with malaria infection in Myanmar-Thailand border area especially in Tanintharyi region, Myanmar. An unmatched case-control was conducted among 320 migrant people living in Dawei, Thayetchaung and Palaw Townships, 160 cases and 160 controls. Introduction: Tobacco use among the 13–15 year olds is a major concern in Bhutan. The prevalence of tobacco use is higher in adolescents than in adults. It had been reported that 28.6% of boys and 11.1% of girls are current smokers. There has not been a single study conducted to this point on the tobacco use prevention in schools. Routine administration of Sulphadoxine Pyrimethamine (SP) to pregnant women for intermittent preventive treatment (IPTp) of malaria during pregnancy leads to improved maternal health and pregnancy outcomes. This study explores determinants for IPTp-SP utilization among mothers of under-one children in rural Lilongwe, Malawi. Using multi-stage sampling method, this cross sectional study recruited 355 mothers of children under the age of one year from six health facilities. Respondents were aged 18-49 years and were interviewed using an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Heroin is a highly addictive drug which affect a number of problems for users as well as society. However, there were no any recent data regarding heroin users among prisoner in Sri Lanka. This study aimed to identify the patterns of heroin use, risk behaviors and level of addiction among male prisoners in Sri Lanka. A face to face interview questionnaire was administrated purposively sampling among 334 heroin users aged 18 years and above.
