This study aimed to understand the effects of adopting peer support in physical education (PE) class on university students’ body composition and circumference. Two university PE classes were recruited and assigned randomly to class with peer support (CWP; n=41; 8 underweight, 23 normal weight, 5 overweight, and 5 obesity; mean age=19.6±1.3yrs; height=169.5±8.0 cm) or class without peer support (CWOP; n=41; 9 underweight, 23 normal weight, 4 overweight, 5 obesity; mean age=19.3±1.1yrs; height=169.1±6.7 cm). The purpose of this study was to examine the associations between meeting recommendations for 24-hour movement behaviors, parental academic support, and student academic achievement in a sample of Alaskan adolescents. Data were obtained from the 2019 Alaska Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS; N = 1,897; mean age = 15.8 ± 1.3 years old). The associations between meeting recommendations for the 24-hour movement behaviors of physical activity, screen use, and sleep with high academic achievement (mostly A’s and B’s) were examined using weighted multivariable logistic regressions. Further investigation shows that strength training of non-dominant limbs improves children's athletic ability and cognitive development. The purpose of this study was to (1) explore the research progress of dance movement therapy in China and (2) reveal future development trend of dance movement therapy. With the methods of literature review, logical induction and scientific knowledge mapping, the research results of dance movement therapy in China were analyzed visually. The co-occurrence chart of key words and timeline analysis chart of key words of dance movement therapy in China were created based on the data.
