This Charity Hospital Tumor Registry monograph covers the period 1948 through 1975, and includes all patients with a diagnosis of cancer who were seen at Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans. A total of 45,493 cases were abstracted of which 41,049 are described in the monograph. This Registry includes skin cancer and all in situ cancers as well as 189 benign mixed tumors of the salivary gland, 262 meningiomas of the brain, 191 carcinoid tumors of the intestine, and 58 granulosa cell tumors of the ovary.
