Therefore, health professionals need to understand the factors related to the issue in such patients. Objective: To assess a new approach (weighting by “income probabilities [IP]”) that uses US Census data from the patients' communities to approximate individual-level income, an important but often missing variable in health services research. Data Sources: Community (census tract level) income data came from the 2017 5-year American Community Survey (ACS). The patient data included those diagnosed with cancer in 2017 in Ohio (n = 65,759). Background: Obesity may have a protective effect (greater survival) in older adults, a finding known as the "obesity paradox." This study examined the association between self-reported body mass index (BMI) and active life expectancy (ALE) among older U.S. adults.

Methods: Using the Medicare Health Outcomes Survey Cohort 15 (2012 baseline, 2014 follow-up), we estimated life expectancy and ALE by participants' baseline BMI and age using multi-state models. A participant was classified as in an active state if this person reported having no difficulty for any of these six activities of daily living (ADLs).

This study aimed to identify the future anxiety regarding immunity status in nursing students who work in hospitals, especially those caring for patients with COVID-19. This study design was cross-sectional with standard translated instruments of the Future Anxiety Scale and Immune Status Questionnaire administered using a Google Form to 102 respondents. Hospital accreditation undergoes three phases consist of preparation, implementation, and post-accreditation. In the post-accreditation phase, there is reduced compliance of workers and nurses.
