Patient safety is one of the five crucial hospital safety issues. This study aimed to determine factors related with nurses’ compliance in the implementation of indicators of patient safety goals (IPSG 1, IPSG 2, IPSG 5, and IPSG 6). The prevalence of chronic renal failure in Indonesia tends to increase in the lower age group (45–54 years).Chronic renal failure may lead to impaired sexual function. A descriptive phenomenology study with in-depth interviews was carried out with 12 participants, and thematic content analysis was applied. Low nurses’ performance is related with increased job demands and unprofessional job resources. This cross-sectional study aimed to analyze the effects of the job demands–resources model on the performance of associate nurses. The study population was composed of 126 nurses randomly selected. Data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression test. The results showed that job demands and job resources significantly affected the performance of associate nurses. A moderate or heavy level of job demands supported with good job resources will have a positive effect on nurse motivation; thus, nurse’s performance remains good. Mental disorders are predicted to increase every year. Patients with severe mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, often engage in violent behavior. The treatment of such patients can use general nursing treatments (anger management with physical therapy, taking medicines regularly, and verbal and spiritual methods) and specialist nursing interventions (assertive training and family psychoeducation). The incidence of infections in preterm infants is still quite high. In this study, oral care with human breast milk was implemented in risk preterm infants as a precaution. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group and posttest only design in 40 risk preterm infants. The participants were divided into two groups of 20. Commercial sex workers (CSWs) represent a key population for HIV transmission. CSWs continue to thrive because of the development of the tourism sector and the acceptance of communities. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with risky sexual behavior among CSWs living with HIV. A cross-sectional design was adopted. The sample size was set to 80 CSWs living with HIV in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. Chi-square and multiple logistic regression were used in the data analysis. Results showed the significant relationship of self-efficacy (p < 0.001; OR = 9.365) and feeling secure (p= 0.033; OR= 2.762) with risky sexual behavior. No significant relationship was noted between income (p= 0.244), knowledge (p= 0.110), attitude (p= 0.978), drug use (p= 0.150), alcohol consumption (p= 0.642), and sexual violence (p= 0.968) and risky sexual behavior. Nursing practices are expected to focus on promotive and preventative efforts by involving communities in enhancing the feeling of security and self-efficacy of CSWs through health programs and improvement of health facilities.

On a country’s pathway to Universal Health Coverage, it is important to ensure equitable healthcare provision and financing. There was a lack of evidence in equity of healthcare provision and financing across geographic areas in Peninsular Malaysia. This was despite the evidence that geographic factors directly and indirectly affect population health and healthcare services are mostly delivered at immobile healthcare facilities. Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is one of the highest recorded occupational disease despite being preventable.
