The acceptance of applying process simulation in health care has significantly increased during the last decade, leading to an increase of publication in this area. In studying this topic, I used print resources from the last thirty years to investigate the history of the medical profession, including the ideals that shaped it and have bound it for more than 100 years. I studied the attempts at health care reform in the last 100 years, through numerous wars, economic crises, and political flux.
