Regular physical activity plays an important role in maintaining good health and managing and reducing HbA1c among type 2 diabetes patients. The goal of this study is to examine the effectiveness of physical activity in reducing the HbA1c among the type 2 diabetes patients of a local community health center in San Leandro, California. A quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest single site design project was conducted among a sample of 24 patients who had type 2 diabetes.
