Background: This study aimed to examine the mediating role of the Care Factor in the relationship between nomophobia and job satisfaction among nurses.

Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted with 1,083 nurses working in a province in Turkey between May and September 2024. Data were collected using a Descriptive Form, the Fırat Nomophobia Scale (FNS), the Care Factor Scale (CFS), and the Job Satisfaction Scale for Nurses (JSSN). All analyses were performed using SPSS 25, including descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and regression. Mediation was tested using PROCESS Macro version 4.0 (Model 4).

A systematic review of the literature following PRISMA© (2020) was conducted to determine the evidence within nursing and higher education literature to support certification in online teaching and to determine the value of additional certification for nurse educators in higher education nursing programs. Data from CINAHL, ERIC, EBSCO, COCHRANE, AND PUBMED databases were collected following inclusion and exclusion criteria. An independent review by two authors was conducted with twenty-seven articles and one report identified. People with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) deserve the same access to quality healthcare yet are at increased risk of medical and/or psychiatric conditions as compared to the general population. Patients with IDD have less health satisfaction, shorter life expectancy, less access to preventative care, higher chronic health conditions, overuse of certain medications, and increased mortality. This population and their caregivers report high levels of dissatisfaction with emergency/inpatient care. Nurses also express frustration with lack of training, limited resources, and competing priorities.

Falls increase injury and mortality rates and decrease patients' quality of life. Hospital falls also incur enormous financial burdens on hospitals. In 2008, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) stopped reimbursing hospitals for fall-related injuries. The problem addressed in this quality improvement project was staff confidence in fall prevention and hospital fall rates. The purpose is to improve staff confidence and reduce fall rates by 95 % within six weeks. Bridging The Gap: Human Trafficking Education Improves Nursing Students’ Knowledge And Confidence, Stephanie P. Arceneaux, Sharon Boudreaux

Background: Human trafficking (HT) is a global, national, and local public health concern, yet victims often go unidentified due to limited provider education and a lack of screening protocols. This quality improvement project implemented an asynchronous online HT education module for senior nursing students to enhance knowledge and confidence in identifying victims through recognition of red flags and use of screening questions. Method: The module addressed HT indicators, screening tools, screening questions, and available resources. Pre- and posttests using the PROTECT instrument assessed perceived knowledge, actual knowledge, and confidence. Results: Postintervention scores showed statistically significant improvement (p < .001) in knowledge and confidence. Only 10.67% of participants had prior HT training, and 52% preferred online, asynchronous learning. Conclusion: HT education …
