วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์การเป็นพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤต\n \nรูปแบบงานวิจัย: การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบปรากฏการณ์วิทยาเชิงตีความ\n \nวิธีดำเนินการวิจัย: ผู้ให้ข้อมูล คือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานในหอผู้ป่วยวิกฤตกุมารศัลยศาสตร์ โรงพยาบาลตติยภูมิแห่งหนึ่ง ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร ติดต่อกันเป็นระยะเวลานาน 5 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 14 ราย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก และการบันทึกเสียงสนทนา ข้อมูลที่ได้นำมา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงเนื้อหาตามวิธีการของ Colaizzi\n\nผลการวิจัย: พยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤตให้ความหมายการเป็นพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤตไว้ว่า จะต้องเก่ง มีความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญ เป็นคนที่มีความละเอียด รอบคอบ ช่างสังเกต และจะต้องมีใจรักและใส่ใจในการดูแลผู้ป่วยและครอบครัว สำหรับประสบการณ์การเป็นพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤต พบว่า ประกอบด้วย 4 ประเด็นหลัก ประเด็นแรก คือ ความสามารถเฉพาะทาง ซึ่งเป็นสมรรถนะในบทบาทหน้าที่เชิงวิชาชีพของพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤต ประเด็นที่ 2 ความเครียด ซึ่งเกิดจากการขาดความรู้ และทักษะในการปฏิบัติงาน เครียดจากผู้ร่วมงาน และเครียดจากการติดต่อประสานงานกับแพทย์ ประเด็นที่ 3 การปรับตัว พบว่า พยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤตจะมีการปรับตัวเข้ากับลักษณะงานที่ทำ ผู้ร่วมงาน และตารางการทำงาน เมื่อปรับตัวได้ ทำให้ความเครียดลดลงและมีความมั่นใจในการทำงานมากขึ้น ประเด็นสุดท้าย พบว่า สิ่งที่ทำให้พยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤตคงอยู่ในงานได้ เพราะบรรยากาศในการทำงานที่อบอุ่นเป็นกันเอง มีความเอื้อเฟื้อต่อกัน รับรู้ถึงคุณค่าของการเป็นพยาบาล มีความภาคภูมิใจในองค์กรและมีความสุขในการทำงาน และการทำงานเป็นความมั่นคงของครอบครัว\n\nสรุป: ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ทำให้เข้าใจถึงประสบการณ์การเป็นพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤตได้ชัดเจนมากขึ้น ความรู้ที่ได้รับสามารถนำไปเป็นพื้นฐานให้ผู้บริหารทางการพยาบาลนำไปพัฒนาเป็นกลยุทธ์สร้างความพึงพอใจและเพิ่มอัตราการคงอยู่ในงานของพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กวิกฤต\n

Nurses play a crucial role in promoting educational programs aimed at informing women about their reproductive health. However, the role of nurses in providing the health related information is not well defined. Guided by the continuum model, this project evaluated nurses' perceived role in promoting the reproductive health of women during the preconception period. Twenty nurses from 2 outpatient offices wrote responses to an open-ended questionnaire. This descriptive study addressed the education-practice gap that exists as nurses transition into nursing practice. The use of Benner's skill acquisition model offers a structure for connecting theory to practice. New graduate nurses responded to the Casey-Fink Graduate Nurse Experience Survey-© to identify gaps in preparedness for novice practice. The problem addressed in this study was that the local ASN program lacked formal evaluation of the service-learning requirement. Perioperative registered nurses (RNs) are vital to the provision of safe patient care for those undergoing invasive and surgical procedures within acute care settings. Unrealistic transition-to-practice (T2P) expectations for novice RNs (newly licensed and experienced RNs new to perioperative nursing) have resulted in significant turnover and attrition rates as high as 45%. Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted to assess the percentage of patients diagnosed with essential hypertension meeting the blood pressure goals set forth in JNC 8. Background: There is an increased need to identify factors associated with higher risk for excessive HF re-hospitalizations due to hospitals receiving financial penalties related to these re-hospitalizations and poorer patient outcomes. Identifying HF patients at highest risk for re-hospitalization with a screening instrument upon admission to the hospital would allow for early implementation of interventions tailored around reducing risk factors for re-hospitalization.
