การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเพื่อสํารวจความคิดเห็นของผู้ป่วยนอกต่อบริการของโรงพยาบาล ราชวิถีเกี่ยวกับระบบบริการรักษาพยาบาลทั่วไป ระบบรักษาพยาบาลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับแพทย์ พยาบาล ระบบบัตร ระบบการประชาสัมพันธ์ งานสนับสนุน บริการรักษาพยาบาล ได้แก่ เอกซเรย์ ตรวจเลือด ปัสสาวะ การเงิน ห้องยา เปล และการจัดสถานที่ อุปกรณ์ เครื่องมือเครื่องใช้ ตลอดจนข้อเสนอแนะ ของผู้ป่วยต่อบริการแผนกผู้ป่วยนอก โรงพยาบาล ราชวิถี จากตัวอย่างประชากรผู้ป่วยนอก จำนวน 355 ราย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์ ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า \n1. ความคิดเห็นของผู้ป่วยนอกต่อบริการ ของโรงพยาบาลราชวิถี ความคิดเห็นต่อระบบบริการ รักษาพยาบาลของพยาบาล ระบบบัตร ประชาสัมพันธ์ งานสนับสนุนบริการโรงพยาบาลของ เอกซเรย์ ตรวจเลือด ปัสสาวะ งานการเงิน ห้องยา งานเปล และสถานที่ อุปกรณ์ เครื่องมือเครื่องใช้ ผู้ป่วยมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับ "ปานกลาง" ส่วนระบบ บริการรักษาพยาบาลทั่วไป และบริการของแพทย์ อยู่ในระดับ "มาก" \n2. เปรียบเทียบคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็น ของผู้ป่วย จำแนกตามเพศ ศาสนา สถานภาพสมรส ประเภทผู้ป่วย อายุ การศึกษา ภูมิลำเนา รายได้ และ แผนกที่รับบริการ พบว่าผู้ป่วยนอกที่มีเพศ ศาสนา สถานภาพสมรส ประเภทผู้ป่วย อายุ การศึกษา ภูมิลำเนา รายได้ และแผนกที่รับบริการต่างกันมี ความคิดเห็นต่อบริการของแผนกผู้ป่วยนอกโดยรวม ไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 \n3. เปรียบเทียบคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็น ของผู้ป่วยนอก ของแต่ละงานบริการจำแนกตามอายุ พบว่าค่าเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นของผู้ป่วยนอกในช่วง อายุต่างกัน มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นต่อระบบ บริการรักษาพยาบาลทั่วไปแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัย สําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 กล่าวคือ ผู้ป่วยที่อายุ มากกว่า 60 ปีขึ้นไป มีความคิดเห็นต่อบริการของโรงพยาบาลดีกว่าผู้ป่วยที่อายุน้อยกว่า จําแนกตามรายได้ พบว่าค่าเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นของผู้ป่วยนอกที่ มีรายได้ต่างกัน มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความคิดเห็นต่องานสนับสนุนบริการรักษาพยาบาลที่เกี่ยวกับการเงิน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 กล่าวคือ …

In the United States, heart disease is currently the number one cause of death in the adult population (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1991). Unlike many of the major causes of death, heart disease is largely preventable through changes in health related behaviors. Although a portion of heart disease risk is attributed to genetics, the primary cause of heart disease development lies in the eating habits, exercise behaviors, and smoking habits of the individual.

The purpose of this study was to ascertain if nurses-in-training in today's vocational schools are receiving instruction which capably prepares them to meet the needs and exigencies demanded by the medical profession in our rapidly changing society. The study also purports to demonstrate the need for in-service training of nurses already in the profession as well as the mandate for change which had to be carried out by all nursing trainers in light of the rapidly evolving technological advances of the medical field of the nineties.

Computerized Patient Records And Np Practice., Polly A. Hulme

Computer-based patient records (CPRs) are becoming increasingly common in ambulatory settings. The advantages of computer-based patient records over paper records are multiple: they save space and time, help health care providers improve patient care, and provide clinical and managerial information quickly. Currently, however, this software is based on the medical model. The software for computer-based patient records was developed about 25 years ago in academic health care settings, but was never disseminated extensively into other types of ambulatory settings. Now, however, with the advent of more powerful personal computers (PCs), this innovation is commercially available for smaller ambulatory practices.

Problem. Many academic nursing organizations have a great need for leaders who can handle the complex mix of academic administration, health care facilities, and curriculum demands. These administrators are not directly trained to be professional academic nurse administrators. It was the purpose of this study to investigate the nature of mentoring as a vehicle for socializing academic nurse administrators.

The elderly are the fastest growing segment of the population in the United States. Elderly persons are at high risk for developing delirium when hospitalized. The purpose of this study was to determine if pre-morbid cognitive behaviors were predictive of in-hospital delirium in elderly hip-fracture patients. The ability to predict or diagnose delirium early could prevent complications during hospitalization and decrease the length of hospital stays. The study was descriptive correlational. Subjects were admitted to a metropolitan teaching hospital during February through August 1993, were 60 years or older, and were diagnosed with hip fracture. There is evidence that adjustment to chronic illnesses such as Parkinson's disease (PD) may be affected by psychological factors especially how patients appraise and cope with the stress of their illness. There has been limited research available examining the role of illness impact or appraisal in adjustment to chronic illness. No studies were found dealing with the interrelationship of illness impact, adjustment and pharmacological treatment.
