This study aims to provide an overview of the caregiver's contribution in fulfilling child welfare in orphanages as a substitute for parents who are needed to fulfill children's development needs. This study uses the UNICEF Child Welfare and Protection Framework, namely Parenting Capacity and limits the discussion on one of the indicators, namely Emotional Warmth. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. Data collection methods used are literature studies, observations and in-depth interviews. Based on data of the Prison Database System, on November 2013, the number of prisoners is 5730, with detail of 2233 were detained (with details of 2168 as boys and the rest were girls) and 3497 child delinquent (with details of 3428 boys and girls). The increase in cases of child delinquent is not balanced with the increase in the number of prisons and special detention for children. This research offers a different perspective by giving more emphasis on empowerment aspects to rural business partners by student groups. This article addresses a practice commonly known in the child welfare community as “kinship diversion,” where a child welfare agency informally places children with relatives as an alternative to foster care. While evidence predominantly shows that abused and neglected children have better outcomes when they are placed with relatives when they cannot remain safely at home, serious concerns about these children’s safety and well-being arise when the placement with relatives is informal. Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive, qualitative study was to identify and describe the importance of the predictors of juvenile recidivism and the effectiveness of efforts to prevent/avoid juvenile recidivism as perceived by previously detained, arrested, convicted, and/or incarcerated adult students 18 years of age and older exiting from alternative education in Northern California. A second purpose was to explore the types of support provided by alternative schools and the perceived importance of the support to avoid recidivism according to adult students 18 years of age and older exiting from alternative education.

Research has consistently linked residual trauma-related shame among child sexual abuse (CSA) survivors to sexual revictimization, health risk behaviors, and poorer response to mental health treatment. However, questions remain regarding the imprint of childhood maltreatment on trauma-related shame including which CSA characteristics or types of childhood maltreatment contribute to residual shame in adulthood. Attachment theory has made substantial contributions to the understanding of close relationships. The purpose of this study was to inquire whether an attachment-informed psychoeducational program is a feasible and effective intervention for couples expecting their first child. The overarching question was: Is an attachment-informed relationship enhancement program, such as Hold Me Tight® (HMT), helpful to couples in strengthening their relationship and increasing their confidence in becoming first-time parents? One of them is a prevention effort through a Men Care program that presents the male-engagement. Therefore, this study specifically describes the Men Care program implemented by Yayasan PULIH in Jakarta. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. PURPOSE. The purpose of this project was to provide first responders with communication strategies for older adults that may help when responding to fall- related calls. General information was also provided to First Responders on working with older adults with a focus on the aging process, fall risk factors, and communications strategies.

It is critical to develop practical, effective, ecological, and decolonizing approaches to indigenous suicide prevention and health promotion for the North American communities. The youth suicide rates in predominantly indigenous small, rural, and remote Northern communities are unacceptably high. This health disparity, however, is fairly recent, occurring over the last 50 to 100 years as communities experienced forced social, economic, and political change and intergenerational trauma. These conditions increase suicide risk and can reduce people’s access to shared protective factors and processes. This study aims at describing the subordination and marginalization of ex-commercial sex workers in Indramayu District. This qualitative research was conducted through in-depth interview and observation on 5 (five) interesting case studies whose data, then, was triangulated to ensure the valid-ity and reliability of the data. The results of the study showed that there were gender discrimination in the form of subordination and marginalization in education and employment which are applied at different periods, i.e.: before and after they worked as prostitutes. The purpose of this research to describe the social capital that is owned by the working group members of PHBS of SMP Negeri 107 Jakarta in an effort to implement a clean and healthy living behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach and is a descriptive research through data collection techniques in-depth interviews, observation, and literature study. The results of this research shows that social capital is owned by members of the working group of PHBS of SMP Negeri 107 Jakarta can support its success in an effort to implement clean and healthy living behavior.
