Background: The sever acute respiratory syndrome corona virus-2 (SARS_CoV-2) is a novel Corona virus that causes Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID- 19). Except for respiratory symptoms, COVID-19 patient often develop different degrees of liver injury. Notably, COVID-19 patients with pre-existing liver diseases, especially liver cirrhosis, have higher incidence of liver biochemical abnormality, liver injury, and even hepatic decompensation event. Aim: To determine the liver biochemistry changes in COVID-19 patients. Patients and methods: In this retrospective study was conducted in quarantine department, Assuit Chest Hospital was conducted on 761 COVID-19 patients.
