Rumah Sakit Kanker “Dharmais” (RSKD) as a cancer referral centers nationwide in Indonesia, trying to implement a culture of continuous improvement. Lean methods provide analytical approach to the problem of organizing the queue chemotherapy participant of Badan Penyelenggaran Jaminan Sosial (BPJS), particularly in Anyelir ward (One Day Care). Cross-functional Flowchart, Value Stream Mapping, Fishbone diagram, and 5 Why's were used to show the situation and identify activities that Value Added and Non-Value Added based on the patient's perspective. This thesis is an economic evaluation with a cross sectional quantitative method design, observational and using comparative studies between two herniotomy techniques. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the cost effectiveness between patients with Laparoscopic Herniotomy and patients with Open Herniotomy of the inguinal hernia. This research is using Activity Based Costing with simple distribution to achieve total cost and then compared with the output, therefore cost effectiveness ratio (CER) is achieved. The study aims to determine the relationship between the characteristics of a permanent employee, factors satisfiers and dissatisfiers factors on employee motivation remains in District General Hospital North Penajam Paser. The study was conducted in May and June 2014 using a questionnaire with closed questions. Analyses were performed quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design. The study aims to determine the factors associated with the effectiveness of nurse and patient communication atinpatient unit in Harapan Mulia Hospitallocated in Bekasi Regency.It is a quantitative study with cross-sectional design.Samples are the total population amounted to 30 nurses with 60 patients as respondentsconducted in March - May 2015. The results showed that 53.3% of patients perceived that nurses’s communication was effective, further analysis with logistic regression showed no significant relationship between the characters nurses, physical and mental fatigue, language, leadership and management support for hospitals, facilities and reward with the nurses and patients communication effectiveness.

Department of Radiology Dr. Mohammad Hoesin hospital in Palembang 2014, many patients perform chest x ray examination, whom were patients radiographic outpatient. The waiting time radiographic services in RSMH not in accordance with the Standard Minimum Service Hospital less than 3 hours. This study aims to determine the factors associated with waiting time chest X-ray. This research was conducted by measuring the waiting time to 68 selected respondents The result showed radiographic waiting time 184.44 minutes. Based on statistical test found the waiting time in the reading room is the photo that most affect the length of waiting time radiographic.

This research discussed on the This thesis aims to determine the factors that associated compliance patien lung Tuberculosis to swallowing drug at Rumah Sehat Terpadu Dompet Dhuafa Hospital 2015This research used mix methods approach with cross sectional design. This research found that there is still non compliances patient lung tuberculosis to swallowing medicine. The compliance is related on behavior (Predisposisi, Enabling, dan Reinforcing) and non behavior factor. To increase the compliance this research suggest to hospital support fot TB DOTS program, intens of counseling, support the PMO, availability of drug, and frequent recording dan reporting.

The focus of this study is about outpatient journey of “Dharmais” Cancer Hospital in 2014 with purposes to find the unit with highest variation of patient journey and to analize the cause of the variation. This research is cross-sectional qualitative. The results of this research show that APJ Instalation is the unit with the highest variation of patient journey, and the causing factors are softtare of the computer supporting the service, human resource, infrastructure, and service procedures. The researcher found out that high variation of patient journey will reduce the quality of the service.

The treatment duration of MDR-TB patients is very long approximately, 18 until 24 months and the cost is very expensive. This study aimed to find out the treatment outcome as well as the cost variation of MDR/XDR-TB patients. This is an operational research using quantitative and qualitative mix methods. The sample were treatedMDR/XDR-TB patients who started the treatment from August 2009 until December 31, 2010. Total number of sample were 104 patients. This qualitative study discusses the inaccuracies on medical record entry charging, and inaccuracy on coding that caused provider bear the financial risk in the case of Tetralogy of Fallot in INA-CBG at the Pediatric Cardiology and congenital heart disease unit RS Harapan Kita from January-September 2013. This study showed that 21.4% of cases with incomplete secondary diagnosis and the difference between the claim of Rp 251.273.615,- (4%).
