Background: This study aimed to evaluate variations in maxillary and sinus morphology and their correlations with skeletal malocclusion patterns using CBCT.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed CBCT records of 70 subjects aged 17–40 years, divided into three groups: Skeletal Class I (N = 25), Class II (N = 25), and Class III (N = 20). Five maxillary skeletal and four sinus parameters were assessed. Intergroup comparisons were performed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey’s post hoc test. Objective: The objective was to evaluate cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) indications and distribution in pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Methods: A total of 1013 CBCT images were reviewed in detail from the electronic patient database. The patient’s age, gender, CBCT indications and acquisition sites, referral departments, reason for referral, incidental findings in the imaging field and the presence of artifacts in the CBCT images were all recorded. Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the correlation between ultrasonography (USG) and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and the accuracy between histopathological diagnosis and preliminary diagnosis in the diagnosis of periapical lesion. Methods: 20 patients with periapical lesion in the jaw, were included in the study. The presence of expansion or perforation and dimensions of the lesion were performed with CBCT. Background: This study aimed to examine the effects of ectodermal dysplasia (ED) on the transverse width of the maxillary bone.
Methods: The ED group was composed of seven people, while the control group consisted of retrospective cone-beam computed tomography images of seven individuals with skeletal class 1 relationship.
