Aim: To investigate the implant stability in relation to two different implant designs, a cylindrical shaped single threaded design (CS/ST) and a tapered shaped double threaded design (TS/DT) using RFA over the first 8 weeks. Materials and Methods: 28 implants were randomly allocated into two groups and were placed as single tooth implant in the posterior arch. CBCT scan was used to determine the bone density and the implants were placed with guided surgical template by inexperienced surgeons which were prepared with the same implant planning software. Objective: To compare esthetic perception between dentists and laypersons by difference of asymmetrical width and length of maxillary central and lateral incisors under 5 and 15 seconds evaluation time. Materials and Methods: Photos of women were digitally altered by Adobe Photoshop® program to create image with symmetrical and asymmetrical tooth width or length in 0.5 mm increments. Final images were randomly present on computer screen using an equal ratio to actual tooth. This clinical study aims to determine differences in lipstick stains between ceramic veneers and natural teeth. Types of lipsticks affected lipstick stains on ceramic veneers and natural teeth were also investigated. A total of 30 patients were divided into two groups: ceramic-veneer (CV) group and natural-teeth (NT) group with 15 patients in each group. Statement of problem. Performance of adhesive and resin luting cements used to bond zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate ceramics (ZLS) to dentin has not been well established. Purpose. To examine microshear bond strength (µSBS) of etch-and-rinse adhesive system, universal adhesive and self-adhesive resin cement that were used to bond ZLS to dentin. Material and Methods. Purpose: This in vitro study evaluated fracture strengths and failure modes of thin occlusal onlays fabricated from direct resin composite, CAD/CAM polymer-infiltrated ceramic-network, and CAD/CAM lithium-disilicate glass ceramic under compressive loading. Materials and Methods: Forty extracted maxillary molars were prepared, including occlusal enamel and dentin removal, leaving two dentin slopes with peripheral enamel. Thirty teeth were restored with 0.6-mm-thick occlusal onlays using direct resin composite (Premise), CAD/CAM polymer-infiltrated ceramic-network (Vita Enamic), and CAD/CAM lithium-disilicate glass ceramic (IPS e.max CAD). Objective To evaluate the effect of 4 different types of abutment material, which are titanium, zirconium oxide, gold alloy, and zirconia-coping cemented on titanium-base, on the surrounding soft tissues. Material and Methods Twenty dental implants in posterior edentulous area were randomly divided into 4 groups and inserted 4 types of abutment materials; Titanium, zirconia, gold-alloy, and titanium-base, on the implant installation surgery day. Eight weeks after implant surgery, peri-implant soft tissues around experimental abutments were harvested and split according to implant side; buccal, lingual, mesial, and distal.
