Underwater weighing with full lung expiration has been established as a valid method to assess body composition. Many people do not prefer this method due to various reasons. Hydrostatic weighing with head above water at full lung capacity has been tested although not accepted as an alternative method. Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to examine if hydrostatic weighing with the head above water could be a better method to measure body composition.
