Introduction. Benign breast tumors have a significant incidence among breast diseases that cause anxiety for patients. Surgical management is one of the managements. Vacuum-assisted breast biopsy (VABB) could be applied to tumors with a size of less than 3 cm or multiple lesions. One of its techniques is guided by ultrasonography (USG). In Indonesia, the ultrasound-guided (USG-guided) VABB has already been applied in several healthcare instances. Nevertheless, there are still opinions about tumor recurrence after the procedure. Patients often have limited understanding of the emergency department (ED) care process, which can increase anxiety, frustration, and confusion. This study implemented and assessed the usefulness of a poster explaining the ED care process. A large wall-mounted poster illustrating the patient journey was developed; two different data collection techniques were used. First, a QR code/URL was used to passively collect patient reactions to the poster in 15 EDs. Background: UK HealthCare transitioned to a new enterprise electronic health record (EHR) system, offered by Epic Systems Corporation, in June 2021. Approximately 2,000 inpatient nurses use the EpicCare Inpatient Module in the 1,086 licensed bed facilities. Compared to other academic medical centers, UK HealthCare nurses take more time documenting in this EHR inpatient module’s Basic Assessment Flowsheet (documentation burden) and have a longer delay between assessment and documentation (timeliness) potentially contributing to nursing dissatisfaction with using this new EHR.

The World Health Organization [2019] defined burnout as a syndrome caused by chronic job stressors that are not successfully managed, characterized by exhaustion, depersonalization, job detachment, and feelings of inadequacy (WHO, 2019). According to Murthy [2022], the nursing burnout crisis was underway before COVID-19. Nurse burnout recognized pre-COVID-19 was due to systemic organizational problems such as inadequate organizational support and underinvestment in public health (Murthy, 2022).

The goals of this study were to characterize clinical coordinators compared to other Physician Assistant (PA) faculty, and investigate factors associated with intent to leave their position, institution, and academia in the U.S.

Methods

This was a secondary analysis of data obtained from the 2019 Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Faculty and Directors Survey. We examined bivariate associations with faculty role and conducted multiple logistic regression to identify predictors of intent to leave among clinical directors.

If the nurse can establish IV access as early as possible this will lead to faster interventions faster diagnostic results and better management for patients and ultimately better patient outcomes.
