Background

In Medical Oncology, the utilization of EPIC-Beacon Treatment Plans is integral for prescribing and administering cancer treatments. These treatment plans typically consist of anticancer infusion medications (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, etc.), supportive care medications, required laboratory orders, and other monitoring recommendations to ensure that patients receive safe and effective care. In 2017, TJUH transitioned from Varian’s Aria to EPIC’s electronic medical record system. Since then, there has not been a formal review of existing plans, and there are many inconsistencies between plans in different cancer types.

Background. Colorectal cancer is a commonly diagnosed neoplasia in men and women worldwide. This study aims to rigorously map the arterial distribution of the colon in order to assess the implications of vascular patterns in surgical resection. Methods. Cadaveric dissections were performed to explore the arterial distribution (including collateral blood flow) of the colon. Methods: An innovative theoretical framework was developed to integrate individual- and census tract-level social determinants of health (SDOH) with sociodemographic factors. A comparative analysis of the ML models was conducted using key performance metrics such as AUC-ROC to evaluate their predictive accuracy. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) encompasses a diverse group of cancers that originate in the blood-forming tissues of the bone marrow. Aside from the M3 subtype (PML-RARA⁺), AML carries a 5-year survival rate of 28% for patients 20+ years of age. AML is the most common cancer of the hematopoietic system and is slightly more common in biological males; the average age at diagnosis is 68 years. Introduction: Prevention strategies and detection of latent COVID-19 infections in oncology staff and oncologic patients are essential to prevent outbreaks in a cancer center. In this study, we used two statistical predictive models in oncology staff and patients from the radiotherapy area to prevent outbreaks and detect COVID-19 cases.

Methods: Staff and patients answered a questionnaire (electronic and paper surveys, respectively) with clinical and epidemiological information. Objectives

To assess the expression of Lin28, MUC1, and Lipocalin2 by immunohistochemistry in breast carcinoma and to investigate their correlation with clinicopathological features and patient survival.

Methods

This cross-sectional study was performed on 60formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue blocks of breast carcinoma cases. Expression patterns of Lin28, MUC1, and Lipocalin2 in breast carcinoma were investigated regarding their relation with patients̕5-year survival rate.
