Background: Unintended pregnancy is a global health problem. The number of unintended pregnancies globally is still high, accounting for 1 in 4 pregnancies. In Indonesia, it occupies 15% of total pregnancies. However, studies discussing the determinants of unintended pregnancies in Indonesia were conducted on a small scale.

Methods: This cross-sectional research utilized the data of 15,316 respondents of the 2017 Indonesia Demographic and Health Survey.

Teenage pregnancy is known to have physical, emotional, and psychosocial effects. Objective: To examine the prevalence and predictors of family planning (FP) know-do gaps among married women of reproductive age (MWRA) in low socio-economic urban areas of Karachi, Pakistan.
Design: This was a cross-sectional survey of randomly selected 7288 MWRA (16-49 years) to identify predictors of the know-do gap in FP using a logistic regression model.

Introduction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of Hispanic acculturation in the U.S. with family planning behaviors and attitudes.

Methods. Surveys of 225 Hispanic women were collected that used acculturation measures of number of years lived in the U.S. and the Short Acculturation Scale for Hispanics (SASH), along with questions about family planning behaviors, including birth control use, sterilization, and abortion.

CONTEXT: Among people living with HIV in Uganda, desires to have a child and unplanned pregnancies are both common, while utilization of safer conception methods (SCM) and modern contraceptives are low.

METHODS: Three hundred eighty-nine HIV clients who reported considering childbearing with their uninfected partner enrolled in a safer conception counseling intervention trial in Uganda. Multiple regression analysis and baseline data were used to examine correlates of reproductive intentions and behaviors, including use of safer conception methods and contraception.

The vaginal system is in the shape of a ring and contains low doses of a novel progestin, egesterone acetate, and ethinyl estradiol. It is made of silicone and is fully pliable and flexible.
