Proper endometrial function is critical for establishing and maintaining healthy pregnancies, as well as preventing the pathogenesis of conditions such as endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial cancer. The TGFβ signaling pathway regulates key aspects of endometrial biology, although the direct effects of many individual receptors remain unstudied. In this study, we characterize the role of TGFβR2 within the endometrium using a progesterone receptor-cre conditional knock-out mouse model (Tgfbr2flox/flox;Pgrcre/+; “Tgfbr2 cKO”). Early clinical experience with the use of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has been beset by high rates of toxicities and low rates of response. We convened an international workshop with the goal of bringing investigators in the field of AML-directed CAR T-cell therapy together to facilitate discussion of challenges and to brainstorm potential solutions. Background: Aggressive treatment with multimodal therapies such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy has improved survival in head and neck cancer (HNC) but at a human cost of a substantial symptom burden and impact on quality of life. We developed the NYU Electronic Patient Visit Assessment (ePVA)© for HNC as a digital patient-reported symptom monitoring system that enables early symptom detection and real-time interventions at the point of care. With this study protocol, we aim to test the effectiveness of the ePVA in improving HNC outcomes in real-world settings and to identify implementation strategies optimizing its effectiveness.

98% of T cells reside in tissues, yet nearly all human T cell analyses are performed on peripheral blood. We performed single-cell sequencing of 5.7 million T cells from autologous blood and tonsils of ten donors. We identified distinct patterns of clonal expansion associated with tonsil-restricted phenotypes. Clonal sharing between blood and tonsils was lower than previous estimates and increased with age. Identical T cell receptor (TCR) sequences exhibited limited concordance in their phenotypes across compartments. Furthermore, location dictated the frequencies, clonal dominance, and phenotypes of antigen-specific T cells. Using immune organoids, we showed that antigen exposure drives functionally distinct …

Outcomes in classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) have steadily improved; however, additional therapies are needed for patients who relapse or do not respond to novel agents. Here, we report the efficacy and safety of camidanlumab tesirine (Cami), an anti-CD25 antibody-drug conjugate, in patients with relapsed/refractory cHL after brentuximab vedotin/programmed cell death protein 1 inhibitor therapies from the phase 2 ADCT-301-201 study. Eligible patients were adults with cHL who had received ≥3 previous lines of systemic therapy (or ≥2 if ineligible for hematopoietic stem cell transplant). In the phase 3 ECHELON-2 trial, brentuximab vedotin, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone (BV-CHP) significantly improved progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) compared with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (CHOP) in patients with CD30+ peripheral T-cell lymphoma, benefits that were maintained at 5 years. Interim positron emission tomography (PET) scan can be used to assess prognosis and risk-stratify patients. The prognostic value of interim PET was assessed in this post hoc exploratory analysis from ECHELON-2, evaluating interim 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET scans after cycle 4 (PET4) and end-of-treatment-based response, and correlated with PFS per investigator and OS. Kanpu Masatsu (KM), a traditional Japanese self-massage technique using dry towels, has been associated with health benefits for this population. PURPOSE: This study explores the effects of performing Kanpu Masatsu before bedtime on sleep quality and fatigue levels. METHODS: Twelve healthy older adults (3 men and 9 women; age 60.67 ± 1.69 years) were recruited to monitor their sleep over 14 days using a Fitbit Sense 2. Managing seizures in the summer camp environment presents unique challenges, requiring not only medical attention but also empathy and understanding from both peers and caregivers. Approximately 0.5–5% of children and adolescents will experience at least one afebrile seizure by adolescence and there is a 3.6% risk of experiencing at least one seizure in an 80-year-lifespan (Murphy et al., 1995 as cited in Wilfong, 2025). Recognizing how to support a child with seizures during the camp season is essential to promoting their safety and well-being while also ensuring they have a positive and inclusive camp experience.

Young adults aged 20-35 experience disproportionately high rates of mental health conditions yet exhibit low treatment-seeking behaviors, creating a significant care gap. Digital interventions—particularly Virtual Reality (VR)—show promise for reaching this tech-savvy group. The primary research question explored art therapists' insights utilizing this modality, while a secondary aim examined whether creating VR response art (VRRA) enhanced understanding of the group process. Personalized dermatology increasingly leverages both genetic predispositions and lifestyle behaviors to model individual skin health outcomes. This study proposes a multi-output machine learning framework to predict the severity of six dermatological phenotypes—acne, redness, dryness, sensitivity, scarring, and pigmentation—using a multimodal dataset of 5,254 individuals. Input features include mutation profiles for six skin-related genes (FLG, MMP1, MMP3, AQP3, SOD2, GPX) and 22 lifestyle variables such as sun exposure, stress, and hydration. We train and evaluate LightGBM models under independent, multi-output, and chained configurations. Performance is assessed using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and average Quadratic Weighted Kappa (QWK). This study aims to look at the relationship between the timing of pubertal onset and its long-term effects on adult anxiety behavior in rats. Though the topic of pubertal onset has been frequently discussed in developmental research, its exact effects have been inconsistent.
